How Playa Is That: Delonte West is the Coolest Cat in the NBA

For all you NBA-haters, meet Cleveland Cavaliers' Delonte West.

 13.3 points per game, 4.4 assists in 40 minutes per game in the 2009 playoffs. He's burst onto the scene since going to Cleveland before the '07-'08 season. No doubt, he has benefitted from playing with the beast of a man-child that is LeBron James, but as this correspodent piece on Jim Rome Is Burning suggests, he's got enough personality alone to get the Cavs to re-up on that contract. 

Here's another hilarious interview from the game four post-game after the end of the Cleveland/Atlanta series. Does anyone else smell a 4-4-4 situation for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference?

 

Seriously, this NBA postseason has had its moments already, and it's just about to heat up even more. I don't know if I feel comfortable living in a place that doesn't care about that — a place that makes the NBA appear to be as fringe as the NHL. I know SWK doesn't have a horse in the race, but that just gives potential fans here the advantage of picking which team they root for. Jump on the Cleveland bandwagon with me!
