Stephen Curry is a manchild

Wow.

ESPN junkies will by now have witnessed the exploits of one Stephen Curry. The Davidson guard goes off for 40 on the weekly.

This kid is bonkers with it. Even on a 15-of-33 shooting night, he's electrifying to watch. You may say, "Who cares, Matt, it's just the non-conference schedule. It's nt time to start paying attention to college basketball."

I say phooey to you. When my 'Horns get jobbed and my Cowboys falter in the last minute and a half to lose to the Terrible Towel, college basketball is currently all I have left. Look for Texas to make another deep run, and look for Cury to keep cooking all season long.

I mean, he drew LeBron James to a Davidson game. Need I say more?

Biography

Hows it?

If you've made it this far, you clearly have too much time on your hands. So why not waste it here, with me, on the internet, right? My name is Matt. I do sports, and I do smarm. I am endowed with what some call the gift of gab when it comes to sports and pop culture, so that's what this blog will be about.

For the record, I come from Texas. Where everything is bigger, and quite frankly better than anywhere else. That said, I think folks and the terrain are somewhat similar here in our little pocket of SW Kansas, and I do like it here for the most part.

But this is my space to be a total all-out homer (which some may accuse me of doing on the regular sports page, but I digest). This is my space to talk trash and keep it real. With me, you'll find, real is kept - its automatic. So when I go off about THE University of Texas, or the Cowboys, or the Mavs, you'll just have to deal with it. Get your own blog if you don't like mine.

Adam Sandler said it best in The Wedding Singer: "I have a microphone, so YOU WILL LISTEN TO EVERY DAMN WORD I HAVE TO SAY!"
