Welcome to the new Dodge City Daily Globe's Blogs — or Dodge City Daily Blogs as they've come to be called.

My name is Mark Vierthaler and I'm the managing editor of the Daily Globe.

Since I was hired as managing editor two months ago, one of my first orders of business was pushing to have staff blogs for each of my writers. The goal was to give you, the readers, a more interactive experience with the people who report the news.
